Looking for
"The Man of Peace"
Whenever I enter a church system I look for 'the man of peace.'
The man of peace will be like Jesus would be:
warm
inviting
laughing
joyful
at peace with himself
at ease with his own weaknesses
unpretentious
not looking to control or force others
not looking to put on airs
not looking to look good in others' eyes
not anxious about performance or being good
but rather:
trusting in the affirmation that comes from God
trusting in the grace of God
trusting in the righteousness that come by grace and faith
