We are commanded to have a ready defense for our faith and to be ready always to present the gospel to people at every opportunity. The gospel has the power of salvation, not an inner feeling.
Apologetics must FIRST deal with the HEART because it is not first the mind of man that rejects knowledge of God but the heart.
Not words, not even actions, but being full of the Spirit of God is the greatest witness. It is a witness that cannot be refuted or reasoned away... the unbeliever says "I know that your God lives because I see Him in you!"
