The work of the Pastors / Teachers is to

EQUIP THE SAINTS

INTO THE

WORK OF THE MINISTRY

that God has given them.

If what we do Sunday morning is NOT ACCOMPLISHING THIS then we need to change what we do there into something more

EQUIPPING and RELEASING.




The Proposal

1. That we organize the church into purpose Groups.

Different people have a different heart for each of

Christ's Purposes:


  • Connecting more with Him
  • Connecting closer together as God's family
  • Connecting more with pre-believers

    • 2. that the purpose groups interact, plan, mobilize and take action together.

    It will take the whole church to effect the whole city.
    Every Christian needs to be empowered and released into ministry.
    We accomplish more together as we help one another.

    Meeting Components

  • grouping into purpose groups
  • brainstorming, dreaming and envisioning
  • clarification of possibilities and needs
  • activation of plans and possibilities -- doing it!
  • once a month involve the whole church in doing your purpose
