Testing Every Thought

We need to

live in relationship with God
sharing every moment & thought with Him

 Through this we will

test every thought and inclination to see if it:


  • leads you toward or away from trusting in God
  • leads you towards or away from God's purposes for you
  • aligns with God's true view of you: Who God has made you
  • builds you up or tears you down in God

    Give all thoughts and inclinations that are not aligned with God up to Him and receive His cleansing by faith.

    These thoughts were not neccessarily yours; they can come from either your flesh, the world or the enemy. They do not defile you unless you entertain them instead of giving them to God immediately through confession. Cleansing is easy and immediate for each time we fall.

    We need to pursue God to remove even the inclination from our hearts.

    Through this process we will walk in JOY:

  • we will walk in fellowship with Him
  • every temptation from the enemy will drive us closer to Him and remind us of what He has done for us
  • we will continually grow into reliance on Him because our faults will be pointed out to us.
